Good Old Mr. Rogers

During our trip to the library yesterday, I found a parenting book by none other than our TV neighbor Mr. Rogers. He actually had several books. I started reading the book which is very easy to read and flip through to different subjects. He had some good insight on children's fears that I had never heard of our thought about. Taylor has been having some scary fears and bad dreams in her room at night. They have been about different things. She will come and get in our bed or sometimes she will just cry, too scared to move and that usually wakes up Jamie. We want to help her but it is hard to convince her that the scary things aren't real.

Anyway, I recommend any of Mr. Rogers' books. I know from my childhood he never steered me wrong.

Poopy in the Potty.

Hurray! She did it! Taylor finally did #2 in the potty today with no accidents and not in her panties. She has refused up to this point to do it, so I was so overjoyed when she said Mommy I have a surprise for you!

It is amazing what mama's get excited over!

First Day of Bible School

Today is an exciting day. Taylor had her first day of bible school at church. She did great. That was her first time being away from mommy and daddy for that long and her first time being away from home being potty traines. She did great on both fronts!

She got dressed up in her favorite pink smocked sundress and took her book bag. She was so precious. When she got home it was not long before she hit the sack. She is not used to getting up early yet.

I can't believe my baby girl is growing up so much so fast.
